Position details We are looking for an International Student Advisor - Admissions to join our team at the Petone campus.

The position is responsible for a broad range of tasks involved in assessing applications and issuing offers for prospective international students seeking admission to WelTec and Whitireia. The position plays an important part of the international student recruitment and conversion process. Key accountabilities Speedy and accurate processing of applications by international applications, with the ability to follow processes Some knowledge and/or experience of international admission operations (tertiary or secondary level) Accurate, thorough, and comprehensive record-keeping in the student management system.

Knowledge of the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021 Proven ability to easily adapt to new technology. Typing skills with fast, accurate data entry, particularly into the student management system. Attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and calmness under pressure.

The ability to work in a team, including the ability to assist other team members and the wider Registry group. Energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve objectives. Fluent in spoken and written English.
