About the role We are looking for an experienced IT Tutor to teach the NZ Diploma in IT Support - Level 5 programme and inspire the next generation of IT professionals. Teaching papers include: Programming, IT Support, Networking, Web Design, Security, Hardware and Software to name a few. This is an on-site classroom teaching position and the classes run Monday Thursday with Friday offered as discussion/activity day.
There is also 2x Saturdays (over a block of 8 weeks). Our classes are a mix of day and evening classes. The role will involve: Planning and delivering courses using effective teaching methods and materials appropriate to the students and course content and aligned with the NZSE Teaching and Learning Plan Ensuring all assessments, including tests are completed as per the requirements of the course including marking, feedback, moderation, reassessment and rescheduling within required timeframe Face-to-face delivery and online (when required) About you Must have the NZ Adult teaching qualification at Level 5 Passionate about Academia and tutoring Have tutored IT Students at a vocational or tertiary level Degree or Masters qualified Can work weekend and evenings In return, you will get the opportunity to teach one of New Zealands most sought-after programmes in a fun and multicultural setting.
