M te tranga mahi | About the role Now is an exciting time to make your mark with ACC as we embark on interweaving kaupapa Mori into our day-to-day mahi. As the Kaithono Rautaki Matua | Strategic Engagement Partner to the Deputy Chief Executive Mori, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and advice on the design and implementation of Te Tiriti and equity centric initiatives across ACC that will better deliver on the needs of Mori.
This is a deep subject matter expert role that requires active, influential leadership to nurture strategic engagement and development of iwi, hap, whnau, clients, Mori business and Mori community partnerships across Aotearoa on behalf of ACC. This role works by partnering with leaders across ACC, to bring Mori worldviews and mtauranga into the development and accountability mechanisms of ACC to ensure our systems and processes are accessible, resolve inequities, and meet the needs of Mori. Salary ranges from $137,401 to $193,978 with a mid-point of $161,648.
Preferred locations are Te Whanganui-a-Tara or Tmaki Makaurau. Other locations may be considered, and genuine flexible working options are available. To be successful in this role, you will bring: A significant proven track record in successful partnering approaches with Iwi, Hap and whnau Mori to support Crown obligations towards effective Mori development and wellbeing.
Demonstrated competency in Te Reo Mori me ona tikanga, mtauranga mori and values, political and social systems, including demonstrated strong iwi connections. Demonstrated experience in Mori engagement including strong established Mori networks across the private and public sector. Extensive knowledge, and proven ability to advise on the application of te Tiriti o Waitangi and Crown obligations to Mori development and wellbeing.
A genuine desire to work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes for Tangata Whenua and Tangata Tiriti. Highly effective interpersonal and influencing skills with proven experience of building strong relationships with people at all levels and leading cultural change. E.
