Ko wai mtou | About Us Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand's largest school with a roll of up to 24,000 konga (students) at any point of time. We provide personalised learning programmes from early childhood to NCEA Level 3. Our konga are at the centre of all we do.

M tnei tranga mahi | About this position As Kairahi Toiora you will be part of the regional leadership team, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will have your own team of regional kaimahi including kaiwhina, non-teaching staff who work closely with konga to support engagement and wellbeing. You will work collaboratively with other regional leaders and closely with the other Kairahi Toiora to develop and strengthen practice and system developments nationally.

This is a full-time role incorporates 0.5fte (20 hours) leadership and 0.5fte (20 hours) teaching, based in one of our Te Kura regional office.

Ko koe tnei | About you You'll have an in-depth understanding of Big Picture principles and implementation, plus a track record of working positively to deliver on organisational strategic direction. This is a great opportunity if you have teaching experience with any age group from Primary to Secondary and an interest in a middle leadership position. This role has a teaching component, so applicants must have full New Zealand Teacher Registration.
