Role summary and responsibility: The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for the development of long-term relationships & driving business initiatives with key Retail Pharmacy Accounts (Banner Groups), Aged Care Centres and Primary Care Corporate Organisations. The AM should be proficient at planning and executing an effective relationship strategy and building/ maintaining effective, long-term business relationships at the senior executive level with key decision makers and influencers within each Key Account. Pfizer Account Management responsibilities are segmented into three key areas of focus: Key Account engagement, account management, and leadership.
Key Account Engagement: Leads, coordinates, and manages the long-term, consultative, senior executive Key Account relationship to become the trusted business advisor. The AM should be proficient at planning and executing an effective relationship strategy and building/maintaining effective, long-term business relationships at the senior executive level with key decision makers and influencers within each of the 3 sectors listed above. Become the single point of contact at Pfizer for the key accounts in the 3-sectors (key retail pharmacy groups, key aged care groups and key corporate accounts Management & resolution of queries Build a Pfizer strategy utilising relevant channels Identification and development of business opportunities Account Management: Lead the strategic sales planning process Creatively delivers innovation and thought leadership to the Key Account relationship to increase strategic relevance of the Pfizer brand.
Commercial negotiator for Pfizer Key Account Management administration, including customer database management Internal Stakeholder Management Leadership: The AM identifies and prioritizes Pfizer opportunities through understanding the Key Accounts business and strategic imperatives, and is responsible for developing and executing an effective Key Account Plan for each identified Key Account Deliver on Account centric goals - including business KPIs Monitor industry, market changes, competitor activity to build into sales plans and strategies Responsible for overall service excellence with Key Accounts. Qualifications: 7 years of retail pharmaceutical experience with focus on customer centric behaviour Key Account Management in healthcare Well established relationships with senior management within the retail banner groups or aged care facilities and/or primary care corporate groups Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or Science Diploma in Key Account Management desirable.
