Delaware Norths operations at Auckland Airport are growing To ensure we continue offering a high standard of service to airport patrons, we are now seeking Kitchen Hands to join our culinary team. In this role you will complete basic food preparation and all kitchen cleaning duties as required to ensure the provision of a hygienic, safe and clean kitchen environment to meet the highest level of guest and staff satisfaction. The successful candidates will possess the following Experience in a busy kitchen environment (dishwashing, sandwich production etc) is desirable or previous experience in a manual labour and customer service role would be considered Passion and enthusiasm for work in a fast-pace environment Great customer service skills You have a strong compliance focus towards Food Safety including temperature and quality checks and managing cross contamination Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills Possess current recognised Food Hygiene certificate (or be willing to obtain during employment) Availability The successful candidate must commit to a variety of shifts over a 7 day a week roster including morning, days, and nights Pay rate The hourly pay rate for a Kitchen Hand position at Auckland Airport is $23.
