Laboratory Technicians - Tauranga, New Zealand About Us: Our Laboratories are responsible for testing civil engineering materials such as aggregates, soils, concrete, and bituminous materials to support our clients' manufacturing and construction activities. We are looking for people to join WSP who have a passion for civil engineering laboratory testing and want to pursue a career in this vital industry. The Opportunity: Our Tauranga Laboratory are looking for Lab Technicians to join their team, where you'll be able to make a significant contribution towards supporting the Cyclone Gabrielle Recovery effort as well as other local projects. You will be required to conduct hands-on testing of civil engineering materials to NZ and International Standards.
These roles will involve a variety of projects working in the laboratory or out in the field. In addition to testing materials, you will also be responsible for consulting with clients, leading projects, training junior employees, and providing quality control. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and looking for the next step within a civil engineering laboratory and project environment.
Full training will be provided. About You: An interest in or previous experience in a similar civil engineering laboratory A good level of fitness and strength, as these roles can be physically demanding. Holds a current clean driver's license.
