Taitara Mahi Landscape Officer Trees & Shrubs An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Public Spaces Landscape Officer Trees and Shrubs.
This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in our community. As a Public Spaces Officer Trees and Shrubs, you will play a crucial role in the management of Councils tree and shrub assets. You will work closely and constructively with our contractors for the efficient maintenance of these green assets.
Your technical knowledge and planning skills will set tree and shrub renewal programmes that inform asset management and reserve management plans and budgets. Your communication skills and ability to liaise with the public, community groups and internal departments will also be key to the success in this role. As an integral part of the Public Spaces Operations team, you will be dedicated to promoting civic pride through beautification of our district, assisting with auditing park, reserves, and open spaces, and contributing to the overall maintenance and improvement of our public spaces.
u wheako about you: Related industry qualification (e.g., arboriculture, horticulture, landscape design) Confident oral and written communications skills and people skills Proven ability to adapt and deal effectively with changing priorities and requirements.
