About the role: In this role you will be responsible for setting the direction of analysis and reporting, in collaboration with the Analyst Team Leader, to enable Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau District to deliver high-quality information to inform critical decision making within CMH and beyond. You will play a lead role in the Health Analytics team, providing a coaching and mentoring approach to colleagues in the Analyst team. You will be an expert in a range of tools, approaches, and have experience of leading work programmes.

You will need to develop close relationships with subject matter experts in relevant areas, apply strategic focus on offered solutions in order to achieve the necessary outcomes, and provide support and cover for the Analyst Team leader. This is a full time position, working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday and based at Middlemore Hospital. About you: The ideal candidate will need to have: Bachelors degree or equivalent in information systems, computer science, business, finance, statistics or another relevant field Experience in data analysis, research or reporting to inform planning and decision-making Experience in working with a range of stakeholders and business users Excellent written skills and the ability to develop and maintain thorough documentation Minimum of 2 years experience of SQL and MS Excel knowledge Excellent written skills and proven ability to develop and maintain thorough documentation What we can offer you: A great learning environment where you will continue to grow and be challenged Fantastic culture and team environment across the Counties Manukau District An exciting role where no two days will be the same The train stops outside our front door We will provide a safe working environment, a culture that encourages development through training and teamwork.
