MHAIDS is undertaking a change in the way we deliver mental health and addiction services across the district. We are looking for people who are innovative and passionate about leading people and have a strong grounding in mental health and addiction services in a New Zealand context. As part of this change, we are looking for a Local Service Coordinator for our Porirua home base.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a changing environment, believes in integrated care, local community development and can demonstrate experience in working closely with tngata whaiora and whanau to deliver person-directed specialised mental health and addiction services. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to equity and improving outcomes for people that focuses on the vision of care closer to home. You will enjoy achieving and driving for results, and working for a service that has a sharp vision and purpose.

Supporting staff and working closely with internal and external stakeholders will be a key part of your work. You will be part of the leadership team of the locality and will support the Local Service Lead to deliver optimal care to those people living in the locality. You will be supported by a dedicated project team and will be working with like-minded people who are passionate about the change.
