M te tnga | About the role The Logistics Manager is a member of the Senior Command Team and is responsible to the Officer Commanding (OC) for the day to day compliance of the unit. As you will be ensuring compliance in all areas of Logistics, Health & Safety, Security, Facilities and Communication, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail will be important skills. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to deal with all sorts of people on a daily basis will also be valuable as you deal with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
Your ability to critically analyse complex information in order to find innovative solutions to problems will come in handy to enable us to improve policies, procedures and facilities. This role is based in Papakura at the Military Camp. Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there is the option of flexible working arrangements.

Basic finance / budget understanding. High-level communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely. Genuine interest in supporting your NZDF colleagues.
Please note the salary band for this role starts at $74,588 through to $82,876 inclusive of 4% superannuation. This includes support to: operations and pre deployment training; 1 (NZ) Bde Force Element DLOC generation; 2 CSSB DLOC generation; Movements support to the NZDF; and Linton and Papakura Camp static support functions.
