About Te Pou | M mtou Te Pou is a national centre for information and workforce development for mental health, addiction and disability. We aim to improve the lives of people with addiction, disability and mental health needs by connecting the people working with them, with knowledge, resources, training, and information. Our work is staunchly evidence based.
Blueprint for Learning (Blueprint) provides training in mental health and addiction dedicated to both workforce development and community training. Te Pou and Blueprint are co-governed and led. Our work is internationally recognised and focuses on supporting and growing workforce and community capability and capacity.
We are part of the Wise Group, a family of peak performing charitable entities working in areas from frontline service to software development. We recognise the importance of whnau, hap and iwi within Aotearoa. You will lead a team and work effectively with others to ensure staff are well supported by efficient and consistent tools and technology, processes, systems, and practices to deliver high quality project and programme work.
You will actively work to identify and reduce inconsistent processes and practices, duplication, and operational inefficiency. You will work closely with the ELT to identify and respond to new business and other funding opportunities. You and your team will also work with Wise Management Services based in Hamilton, particularly in relation to the provision of shared services that support our work.
Your team will include business management, communications, administration and project management and co-ordination roles and functions. You will need to build and nurture effective relationships with relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working to ensure strategic objectives are achieved, high quality work is delivered, and reputational risks are appropriately managed through good processes, systems and practices, and effective business solutions.
