Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Officer to join our energetic and culturally diverse team in Auckland. This role is vital in strengthening our connections with the Chinese market, and contributing to the growth and success of our organisation. This position is for permanent employment, located in Auckland, and offers a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse and interpret current and future trends in the Chinese-speaking international student market, through feedback, research, and analysis. Coordinate, plan, create, and manage marketing materials and marketing campaigns across multiple channels that target the Chinese-speaking and English-speaking market. Set and adjust marketing realistic objectives that reflect the market, and devise plans to achieve them.
Analyse marketing campaign effectiveness and generate comprehensive reports for the managers and partners, in order to boost company-wide coordination with marketing strategies. Provide feedback on appropriate pricing levels and marketable education products Cultivate business partnerships in targeted markets at both the online and local level Ideal Candidate Profile: Fluent in English and Chinese, with strong writing and speaking skills. Relevant Bachelors degree or higher, or five years relevant work experience Knowledge about content creation, copywriting, live streaming, and video production.
Experienced in social media marketing, especially on platforms like WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, etc. Background in education, youth development, and support is desirable. Must be available for in-person meetings and events in the Auckland area, as some of our promotion is held at education institutions and fairs and in our Newmarket office Application Process: Interested candidates are invited to submit their application including a CV and cover letter detailing their suitability for the role.
