The Commercial Group is the commercial heart of Kinga Ora, with one of its core business outputs being to maximise construction productivity by revolutionising the way we build homes with the Housing Delivery System (HDS), achieved by speeding up processes, improving consistency, control and transparency, in addition to removing duplication, reducing waste and increasing building capacity.
The HDS provides a highly structured, collaborative and exciting working environment where internal and external team members work together, physically co-located, in the office during set hours, Monday to Friday. This means there is no work outside of the set hours. Kinga Ora team members work in large, integrated, cross-functional teams, which include external specialists.
The teams are called Mini Business Units (MBUs) and team members work together and are united by working towards collective goals and share a connection to the outcomes the MBUs are achieving and Kinga Ora's overall purpose. To be successful working within the HDS, key attributes and skill requirements are specified in the position description. Ko t mtou mahi - Our Role Working within the Mini Business Unit (MBU) Pre-Construction team and reporting to the MBU Workstream Lead, the Project Administrator - HDS is part of the team responsible for the development and delivery of projects through the pre-construction Takts from Draft Work Order to Building Consent. Contributing to a collaborative, integrated team of internal and external professionals and specialists that work together in an environment dedicated to producing consistent, reproducible and scheduled results, the Project Administrator - HDS is responsible for undertaking key tasks, and supporting the Project Coordinator, Senior Programme Coordinator, Pre-Construction Workstream Lead and Workstream 2IC, to ensure that project information is accurate, robust and up to date, so that reporting can be completed acc.
