The Role As a mechanical coordinator, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of efficiency and operational uptime for the manufacturing facility. You will take responsibility for a section of the plant, looking after everything from general maintenance, planning routine shut downs, and ensuring machinery operates safely and reliably. The work is varied and stimulating, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Responsibilities: Provide maintenance solutions & expertise to the production maintenance and technical departments Investigate and report on improvements for plant performance, minimising downtime Recommend changes in design and/or maintenance procedures Coordinate and supervise resources for plant maintenance, materials and people Establish and maintain SOPs, training and quality control systems Manage purchase orders and work order processes in SAP Skills and experience Relevant trade qualification (mechanical or similar) Proven experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (minimum of 5 years) Diverse and competent range of mechanical skills Passion for problem-solving, analytical and enjoy a challenge Excellent computer, communication and interpersonal skills Work collaboratively with initiative and the ability to prioritise Benefits Competitive remuneration, and an attractive benefits package Day shift Monday to Friday Stable and supportive work environment Variety of projects to grow your skills The Company Manufacturing the worlds premium Medium Density Fibreboard, exported internationally to a wide range of customers, this company focuses on continuous improvement, quality and sustainability whilst proudly sustainably producing individual pieces.
