The Air New Zealand Aviation Medicine Unit provides occupational health and aviation medicine services to the Air New Zealand Group and play a significant role in implementing this strategy. We are on the hunt for a qualified doctor to join our high performing medical team as a Medical Officer.
The role will initially be four days per week until April 2024, when it will be full time. This is a permanent opportunity based at our Auckland Airport campus. Working alongside other Occupational and Aviation Medical Specialists, the main focus of this role is to provide aviation and occupational medical services to support the business, and to support the wider People Safety Team in achieving strategic and tactical delivery of aviation and occupational health.
We are seeking applications from qualified medical practitioners who are trainees or fellows in Occupational Medicine. Previous experience in Aviation Medicine is preferred, although candidates with an interest in undertaking Aviation Medicine training will be considered. Candidates must have, or be able to gain, Medical Council of NZ Registration and CAA delegate class 1.
