We are Horticulture company A and S brothers limited in Hawkes Bay looking for multiple Machinery operators and team leaders to join our company. The roles are on permanent and Ongoing basis. The roles will be based in Hawkes Bay Region.

Pay rate will be between 29 to 32 per hour. The work will be rostered between Monday to Sunday guaranteed for 30 hours per week. Machinery Operator Duties and tasks Ensuring the maintenance of the equipment and machinery Operating tractors in farms Orchard maintenance tasks such as mowing, mulching, spraying Pest and weed control by machinery Transportation of bins/crates Ensuring the harvest/orchard machinery is in working order Execute Spray program and plant nutritional program by relevant machinery Follow health and safety guidelines of the company Keeping logs and time records Maintain the maintenance records 3.

Team leader Duties will be as follows: Manage and oversee all work undertaken on the orchards . Ensuring knowledge is kept up to date, implementing and making suggestions for new practices and techniques Direct and coordinate the Workers Plan and coordinate seasonal orchard activities Ensuring that development and harvesting are completed timely & effectively to ensure company production goals are met Recording and reporting of key orchard data when required Completion and filing of relevant documentation Guide the Workers with operational involvement as required in the harvest Maintaining a safe working environment and practices for all workers Assigning of tools and equipment to staff Monitor the health and growth of crops Leading the team in orchard work. All job requirements Previous farming/horticulture experience is desirable but not mandatory as full on-job training will be provided.
