Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Are you looking to work in a modern, world renowned tertiary Hospital that provides on-going education in a supportive team based environment? We are seeking a senior registered nurse with strong leadership and advanced nursing skills to work with our dynamic team in our Gastroenterology Department, and specifically in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Nga Pkenga Motuhake | Important Skills In this role you will provide patient care co-ordination and education. It is important that you can prioritise your workload and work as part of a supportive senior nursing team committed to effective/evidenced based nursing practice.
As part of this role you will be expected to maintain your professional portfolio. The successful applicant will have extensive nursing experience and be practicing at minimum as a level 3-4 Registered Nurse. Ideally, you will hold or would be working towards a Post-Graduate Certificate or Diploma in specialty nursing practice.
We are looking for a proactive person who is ready for a new challenge and a chance to take a step up in their - career path. Post graduate qualifications would be an advantage. It is essential that you meet the following criteria: Have at least 5 years gastroenterology/surgical /medical/cardiovascular or 5 years of nursing experience Interact effectively with a multi-disciplinary Team and Service members Maintain safe cultural practice and develop your cultural knowledge Have excellent supervisory, communication and problem-solving skills in order to relate to and work with staff and patients at all levels Have NZ Nursing registration with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
