Occupational Therapist Permanent, 0.75 FTE (30 hours per week) Allied Health Inpatient Team North Shore Hospital We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Occupational therapist to join our dynamic acute team at North Shore Hospital. This is a part-time permanent role which will give you the opportunity to provide quality early assessment, intervention, rehabilitation and discharge planning through a patient centred approach within an acute general medical, surgical and orthopaedic setting.
We have a very supportive team structure and we prioritise staff development through coaching and supervision. The successful candidate must be a New Zealand registered Occupational Therapist with at least two years of clinical experience including experience in an inpatient hospital setting. This role is not suitable for new graduates.
The successful applicant will have strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, excellent communication, will be organised and flexible and be motivated towards professional development and quality improvement.
