This role offers the chance to broaden your expertise in pastry and baking while working with an outstanding creative team. Responsibilities will include the following.
- Preparing, baking and presenting dishes to delight our guests. - Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements. - Work closely with the culinary team to brainstorm and develop innovative menu offerings.
- Control food usage to minimize waste, maintain a clean, safe and tidy work environment. - Have clear communication with staff in various departments, particularly the kitchen and front of house teams. What we need from you We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations.
To be successful you will need: - A Culinary qualification - A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pastry Chef - Experience in a hotel or resort environment, preferably in a complex property with multiple restaurants, bars, and banqueting department for senior role. Full training provided for entry-level roles - Experience in providing a la carte, banqueting and buffet food production. - The ability to problem solve & remain calm in busy periods - Great organization skill and ability to plan when multiple events happening in the same time.
