We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pavement Design Engineer to join the Higgins Road Technology Division. We are a large organisation with 15 branches across the country and this role will support the Higgins business nationally by providing internal pavement design capability. At Higgins we specialise in building critical major infrastructure, road maintenance, regional infrastructure and construction product manufacturing.

What you will bring to the role: Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Pavement Design Engineer Knowledge of the New Zealand principles and practices of pavement design You will be result focused and have a practical approach to problem solving Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail You will be experienced in analysing problems and implementing effective solutions Good interpersonal skills able to communicate and present ideas, information and advice that is understood by a range of audiences Relevant industry qualifications e.
g. BEng, NZCE (Civil), Diploma in Engineering or equivalent Strong computer literacy and competent using Microsoft Excel, Word and other computer systems/databases Knowledge of pavement design software is advantageous - CIRCLY and AustPADS Excellent written English and report writing capabilities Higgins is a leading roading and civil infrastructure company in New Zealand.
