About the opportunity We are looking for a Payroll Officer to join our collaborative team of payroll professionals, where you will be responsible for the accurate processing of contracts, time & attendance data, maintenance of employee masterdata, and ensuring high quality delivery of payroll services to employees. Reporting to the Operations Lead Payroll Services, your key accountabilities include: Accurate processing of contracts, time & attendance data, and maintenance of employee masterdata Responding to queries across the waged payroll, with a strong collective agreement focus Investigating any issues and offering viable solutions to assist in a timely manner Preparation and processing of two pay cycles fortnightly & monthly Processing of changes for employees moving positions and terminate leavers.
Leave requests such as parental leave, leave corrections requested by the wider business and leave cash ups. This position is available on a 12-month secondment and is based at our Hamilton London St Office. You will join a highly supportive community within the Payroll Services team and wider Global Services Operations function, with lots of opportunity for career growth and development About you We are looking for a team-player and motivated individual who has a passion for payroll and helping others.
We want to hear from you if you have: Excellent communication and customer service skills An ability to remain calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail Reliable, strong work ethic and ability to ask questions when things dont seem correct A desire to deliver high quality outcomes and take pride in providing a service to others Ideally previous experience working in payroll systems Payroll or HR qualification coupled with exposure to collective agreements, employment agreements and tax policy would be beneficial, but not required.
