As the key people partner for assigned portfolios, you will identify, align, and embed people initiatives based on organisational objectives, and the overall P&C Strategy. Acting as the trusted partner, you will drive and implement improved employee and leader experience, apply a data and insight-based approach to identify trends, issues, and opportunities, and lead strategic change programmes of work.
Your primary focus is to deliver people and organisational outcomes that underpin the Auckland Council strategy. He krero mu: About you Tertiary qualified in Human Resources or Business (or equivalent experience), you will have demonstrated ability to value-add at a HRBP level, for commercially sound business decisions. Your strong experience working with senior leadership teams as a trusted business partner, in the delivery of people expertise and strategy will be an added advantage.
You may bring additional experience in change management as well as engagement strategies and talent management; however, what is key is your strong influencing skills that can adapt and navigate a highly complex business environment. As a natural collaborator, you will showcase your exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills and situational awareness in this role. As a valued thought partner, you will interpret data to identify workforce challenges and have good understanding of HR Agile ways of working.
