This is mahi that will improve the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity The primary work of this role is to: support the HR Director Operations through line management of a group of the People Partnering team to align, initiate and action People and Communications activities with the overall business objectives and HR policy and processes understand and action the unique needs and challenges of district and develop tailored HR solutions and initiatives to address them effectively foster a positive work culture and enhance organisational effectiveness through people and solution centric practices oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes within the business units; and collaborate with the People Partnering Leads in the National Delivery & Enabling functions to ensure consistency of policy and initiatives and to drive the implementation of development initiatives. Ng pkenga me ng wheako | Skills and experience Several years' experience (expected to be in the range of 5 to 10 years) working in a related function (Senior HR Practitioner) with practical knowledge of employment legislation, employment relations and or industrial relations experience.
Proven experience in managing relationships and developing and maintaining personal credibility with stakeholders. Experienced in union engagement. Experience leading professionals, preferably in the Health sector or government services.
Experience in a complex and or unionised environment desirable. Strategic HR experience with the ability to manage projects from inception to completion desirable. Ka kawea e koe | You will bring: A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
