Permanent, Part-time 40 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE) The Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) , Te Matau a Maui (Hawkes Bay) Community Nursing Service has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with an interest in the nursing management of long term conditions to join the Better Breathing Hawkes Bay Team. The team provide pulmonary and heart failure rehabilitation in a variety of settings in the community, patients homes and via ZOOM sessions.

Ideally you would have previous experience working with respiratory and heart failure patients, enjoy working in a progressive, multidisciplinary team, providing an evidenced based programme with a focus on improving outcomes and quality of life for their patients. You will require an unendorsed drivers licence and ideally you will have had experience in a variety of health environments across primary, secondary and community settings as well as recent respiratory and/or cardiac nursing experience. You would be required to work from locations throughout the Hawke's Bay district, including various sites within the primary health sector, community venues as well as maintaining links with health professionals within secondary services.

This role is a permanent part time position with hours of work from 0800-1630hrs Monday - Friday An orientation programme and support will be provided and individualised to meet the needs of the successful applicant.
