Personal Assistant Job Number : WAI26773 Where youll be working: Waikato Hospital The details: Permanent, Full time - 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE) Salary details: $71,932 - $79,480 Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity The emergency department is seeking an experienced and highly motivated personal assistant to be part of their collaborative and supportive team. We will provide you with a supportive and dynamic team environment where you growth and development will be encouraged and supported.

The role involves providing administrative support to the both the Charge Nurse Manager & wider senior nursing team. Responsibilities of the role but not limited to: effective and efficient management of information acting unsupervised in matters delegated by the Charge Nurse Manager or the Associate Charge Nurse Managers supporting human resource processes such as recruitment Using initiative and judgement to ensure the smooth day to day running of the office. Meets deadlines for request and responses that can include both internal and external governmental information Processing roster work schedule hours, payroll enquiries, and expense claims Correspondence and reports Diary and appointment management Click here to view the position description.

M ttou Ratonga | About our Service Waikato Emergency Department is the major regional referral and trauma centre for the Midland region with a catchment population of over 800,000 people. We see approximately 76,000 patients per year with a broad case-mix of presentations from paediatrics to geriatrics, medicine to trauma there is no aspect of emergency medical care we do not provide.

Mu | About you The key attributes we are searching for include significant previous experience in secretarial and administrative work, ideally in a healthcare environment, excellent keyboard skills, and an ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight timeframes. Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer focus and proven experience in working collegially in a team are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
