Suitable for beginning teachers This position is suitable for a new graduate or an experienced NZ registered physiotherapist with an interest in paediatrics. Rosehill is a large specialist school based in South Auckland. We cater for students aged 5 to 21 and operate across multiple sites.
Our students have a wide range of needs including 50% with a diagnosis of Autism and others with complex, physical needs. We are a multicultural school with 40% of students identifying as Mori. We proudly promote active learning across the curriculum.
This role is varied and involves working collaboratively with the class team, whnau and other therapy disciplines to ensure students can engage in the curriculum, all aspects of school life and develop physical independence. Upskilling staff to use best practice across the day is a key part of this role. Your caseload will be varied and you will have opportunity to develop new skills.
You will need to use your own vehicle and will receive an allowance for this.
