Our Opportunity: This role leads the short-term planning and scheduling activity within Mercury's Generation portfolio. A key function within Mercury, you'll be responsible for ensuring immediate and/or short-term maintenance priorities are planned, scheduled and resourced to maintain the integrity of generating assets.
Key responsibilities include: Work closely with site resources to understand asset condition and direct maintenance resources to improve reliability and asset performance. Represent the voice of the asset to the business. Ensures equipment details are updated, including maintenance plan details, condition assessments, life cycle and failure data.
Assist to set current and future priorities, further working to updating labour requirements and costs forecast. Support the management and monitoring of maintenance budget forecasts in line with the operations and portfolio plan. Work closely with the system maintenance scheduler to sequence work and level resources over the period.
Delivering maintenance cost estimates that support a risk-based approach to maintenance budgeting (FY) and is expected to deliver the maintenance strategy and tactic requirements in line with the zero based budget (ZBB).
