We are searching for a Pre-construction Coordinator/ Manager to join an award-winning residential construction company based in Highbrook, Auckland. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this role is responsible for managing the stakeholders such as Consultants, Architects, Council and the design process through to sign-off and hand over to the Construction Team.
You will be providing residential architectural and design expertise, coordinating clients' design expectations with best practice liveability, engineering, and construction methods. This is a varied role, with plenty of scope, interaction and opportunity to build long-term relationships and would suit a QS/Estimator who enjoys building relationships with and working alongside our suppliers, clients and construction team. What your day-to-day will look like: Reviewing and advising on design briefs and concepts Clarifying the clients vision for the design components of the project Advising on innovative design solutions or offering alternative methods to project team members. Engaging consultants to assist in the development of design as required Monitoring production and ensuring high-quality documentation is provided to all parties Ensuring drawings and specifications clearly reflect the intentions and expectations of all stakeholders Ensuring all documentation is managed through Procore with version control and communication to all relevant stakeholders Advising on innovative design solutions or offering alternative methods to project team members. Assisting in the integration of commercial, construction and design issues to manage project design risks.
About you: Excellent attention to detail and customer-centric approach Strong hands-on approach Ability to evaluate technical drawings Strong analytical and organisational skills Experience with MS Office Working knowledge of Procore ideal Experience with Auckland Council Qualified Partners Programme ideal Demonstrated project management experience working with architects, drafting teams and specification.
