The Product Insights and Analytics team reports into Xeros Strategy & Operations function.

We are responsible for empowering Xero to deliver successful customer outcomes through actionable insights and analytics using product data. Our team supports business stakeholders with key information to: understand the current product landscape and user behaviour, inform and motivate product behaviour and shape product strategy. You will work on delivering high quality data assets (data pipelines and models) to enable fast decision making and strategic decision making.

What you'll do Be a trusted adviser to business stakeholders, helping them to identify key business questions and finding ways to answer those questions with data. In depth understanding of the business context and end to end flow of product data to inform data pipelines and models. Hands-on development of data pipelines and models in DBT & Snowflake, contributing to our library of analytical assets to enable insights analysts to spend less time gathering and wrangling data.

Produce metrics, models and automated reporting which enable analyst or Product users to improve their core understanding of their customers & product, and enhance their decision-making. Migrate existing monthly reporting from a old legacy platform onto our new data platform in Snowflake. By working closely with the Analytics Engineering POD you will be the technical lead and support the insights analysts in your team.
