General information Location Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington Expertise Product Development / Management Job Level Experienced Employment Type Permanent full-time Close Date 26-Feb-2024 Ref 54661 Description & Requirements Our newly established team of Product Owners are at the forefront of product innovation and development Our Product Owners will be responsible for working with our Product Managers and Product Squads to ensure that CCL is consistently evolving our products to meet the needs of our customers and the products we deliver to them today and into the future and deliver amazing product experiences. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of your product(s), from defining the backlog and release plan to working with product teams, marketing, and sales to bring it to market. You will work closely with the Product/Portfolio Manager and your product teams to ensure your product roadmap and backlog align with product and portfolio strategy.

You will also be responsible for listening and understanding customer needs and building and refining products that meet those needs. You will be data-driven, a strong collaborator and able to motivate and inspire your product teams to deliver to the backlog and roadmap. Accountable for: Developing and prioritising the product backlog and release plan in line with overarching product portfolio strategy Working with the Product Manager to refine and deliver the overarching product roadmap and strategy Driving the development and continuous evolution of your products to ensure they continue to evolve and meet the needs of customers Aligning cross-functional teams Tracking key metrics and measuring the success of your product against defined goals Lifecycle management and maintenance of systems Operational efficiency and cost management Creating and delivering user stories Defining and delivering product requirements, working with the Product team Coordinating amongst a diverse internal stakeholder group to arrive at the best service outcome primed for client opportunities.

Ensure market readiness of all product components, core, and support. Experience and Capabilities: A good understanding of the New Zealand and global cloud and IT services market and opportunity Experience in delivering successful products in the ICT industry Experience with agile product owner and development methodologies to develop and drive the execution of the product roadmap and backlog Experience in stakeholder management in a competitive environment Experience in defining, measuring, and analysing customer requirements and pain points A strong communicator with the ability to enable and influence client-facing teams. Analytical mindset and an ability to prioritise and stay focused in the face of conflicting pressures.
