This is where you come in As a Project Lead - Sourced Product, you will be responsible for leading the specification and delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects cross-functionally through the business and via external suppliers.

This role is part of the Cooking Sourced, Rangehoods and Accessories Product Group, reporting to the Chief Engineer and works in a team alongside other Project Leads on Fisher & Paykel, Haier and DCS Brand cooking products. Key Responsibilities Project leadership through all phases of the project lifecycle Preparation of Project Briefs and Concept Papers (business cases) in collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders Managing project timeline, scope, budget and risks - ensuring delivery to promise and visibility of status, issues and resolution actions. Ensuring decisions are knowledge based, cross-functionally aligned and consider commercial trade-offs against customer interests.

Leading and influencing resolution of issues with product design, quality, performance and production. Building and maintaining relationships with key external suppliers and leveraging their capability for both product and technology. What we are looking for As an engineer by background, you might be working as a project leader, project engineer or lead engineer and want to move into a project management role using previously demonstrated capability.

You should have sound technical systems knowledge, commercial acumen and understand project cross-functional interactions to effectively plan, mitigate risks and deliver value for our customers and the business. Key attributes we are looking for you to demonstrate: Strategic thinking and the ability to articulate business and project vision Strong communication and influencing skills Achievement driven with a commercial and collaborative mind-set A curious and innovative approach to problem solving and risk management Sound understanding of project management principles, systems and processes Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills at all levels A tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field is essential and any additional accreditation in project management methodologies would be valued, but is not a prerequisite.
