Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau are seeking to appoint a Project Manager within the Te Whatu Ora Improve team.

This role will lead service improvement and innovation initiatives locally, regionally and as part of a national workplan. You will have accountability for enabling significant service change in line with our strategic plan in partnership with clinicians, people and whnau, as well as service leaders across our district. This role reports directly to the Improvement and Innovation Manager Te Whatu Ora Improve.

You will apply your project and change management expertise to a designated part of a programme of work within Te Whatu Ora to promote and ensure quality in sustained healthcare improvements, support team members to deliver excellence and manage service and system wide projects. You will apply your knowledge, skills and experience in improvement methodologies to investigate and facilitate solutions to system problems that reduce inequity and improve quality, safety, productivity and efficiency within Te Whatu Ora. Current knowledge and experience in the New Zealand Health Sector is preferred but not essential.
