The Top Energy Group operates throughout the Far North delivering geothermal electricity generation and electricity network operations. We are enabling Northland to contribute to the decarbonisation challenge by transforming the Top Energy Group into a technology-enabled energy company that generates and facilitates two-way energy flow between renewable energy generators and consumers. We are seeking a Property Advisor to cover parental leave for up to 14 months, providing advice on property issues to internal and external parties, implementing and completing property related projects, and facilitating property related negotiations on behalf of the organisation.
This position reports to the Procurement and Facilities Manager and is based at our Kerikeri office. Key areas of focus will be: Register Caveats on Property Titles and process Network Easements Development and Management of Resource Consent and Designation Applications as well as control of resource consents held Manage regulatory consenting processes (building, resource, heritage consents) Manage Iwi consultation requirements for property projects Support pre and post construction landowner liaison processes Manage land entry processes, including advising internal and external customers Resource consent applications - liaising with Council regarding Planning approval To succeed in this role, it is essential to develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate professional verbal and written communication skills. A tertiary qualification in a property related discipline would be preferred.
It would be an advantage to have knowledge of property and planning law, including Public Works Act and Resource Management Act.
