Our Transmission Lines group in Hawkes Bay looking for a Utility Arborist or Transmission Lines Vegetation Control Worker to support our busy vegetation team to be based in Hastings This role involves vegetation and forestry control around transmission high voltage network. You will have your Level 4 arboriculture qualification, and have, relevant arboriculture or forestry experience. Specific Transmission Lines industry training will be provided if required.

Other Requirements Level 4 Arboriculture or an equivalent forestry diploma. Minimum 2 years of current or previous relevant industry work experience required preferably in NZ Experienced in the use of rigging and climbing equipment Previous experience or knowledge of working around HV or LV Transmission Lines would be advantageous A strong health and safety focus is required Ability to work within a motivated team, and both unsupervised or under leadership as required Familiarity with working around heavy plant and EWP equipment required A good level of physical fitness and good health essential A full and clean NZ Driver's license is required as a minimum, Class 3/ 4 /an HT license is preferred.
