Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community and we are excited to be involved in research around children's Oral language and Self-regulation- Kia Timata Pai. This research involves around 1,600 BestStart pre-schoolers BestStart Albany is an early learning centre located just off the Albany Highway, a short distance from Rosedale Road. We are proud to have a child led philosophy and are fortunate to have an amazing large outdoor space, to support outdoor play.

You will be joining a well-established team and be supported by an experienced Centre Manager. About the Role: Whether you are a newly qualified teacher or an experienced educator, if you have a passion for teaching young children, we want to hear from you. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.

We are looking for the following: B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality Why choose us?
