About the role We have created a new 6 month fixed term opportunity for a Quality Systems Engineer to join our Quality Distribution Centre team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with our distribution, quality, operations and logistics teams and play a key role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our distribution processes to ensure that products released for distribution meet quality standards and specifications. Key responsibilities: Develop, review, and approve quality system documentation to ensure compliance and applicable regulatory requirements are met.
Actively engage with various stakeholders throughout quality, supply chain and our regional offices to ensure processes are effectively implemented and maintained for handling, storage and transportation of products. Support ongoing Distribution Quality related projects. Quality analysis and preparation of quality reports to our stakeholders Support with root cause analysis and CAPA Offering involvement across a key function of our business and working across a variety of different teams, you will develop an understanding of risk, regulatory and quality functions within our organization.
Due to the fixed term nature of this position we are only considering applications who are currently based in Auckland. About you You will receive a lot of support and training in this role so this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a step up or someone already working in Quality and or Production teams and is looking for a new challenge. Key skills and experience we are looking for: 1-2 years in a quality or regulatory environment in a manufacturing industry A tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering An understanding of the Quality function, its purpose, and its impact on the wider business.
Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in Problem-solving, understanding and use of root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA. Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PP, Word, PBI) Proactive, with personal ambition, drive, initiative, and curiosity. Learning agility and willingness to ask questions.
