Join a collaborative team to develop solutions for customers and make your mark About the Role We have an exciting vacancy in our Market Engagement team to develop solutions and tackle challenges from a wide range of customers. This role can be worked in one of our three offices in Wellington (CBD & Lower Hutt) Christchurch (Burnside) or Auckland (Parnell). You will also have plenty of opportunities to travel nationwide as well.

This role is responsible for developing solutions for customer challenges through working with the customer to understand their issues and collaborating with relevant experts and partners to find solutions. This will include collaboration with technical teams, preparation of proposals, quotes and contracts for our R&D Services as well as identifying alternative providers where that is in the customer's best interests. About You You're a keen team player and work well collaboratively to share and implement ideas.

You bring a passionate Sales attitude and strive to overachieve on sales & revenue targets. Your leadership skills combined with experience in R&D and Innovation makes you a trusted partner for your peers and our customers. You will have: Experience in directly managing customer relationships and interactions (e.

g., account management, technical support, technical consulting / project management) Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills (including C-level) A proven track record of identifying commercial and entrepreneurial potential, influencing and delivering outcomes that are innovative and add value to customers Significant experience in an applied technical science or engineering role, including prior experience connecting customers with appropriate technical solutions and opportunities Strong technical proposal writing skills, including estimation and quoting for complex solutions A strong interest in continuous innovation and lifelong learning. A willingness to get out of the office and engage clients at their premises.
