Te Whatu Ora Waitemata Registered Nurse - Community Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS), South Permanent full-time role 1 FTE (40 hours per week, non-shift Monday-Friday) Based in Manukau Valuing Our Achievements, Valuing You. If you are a compassionate registered nurse, ideally with experience working with clients with OST, alcohol and other drug problems and/or mental health, you are an ideal candidate for this role.
Essential requirements New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current competency based practicing certificate Current nursing portfolio or working toward completion Full drivers' licence At least basic computer skills Well-organised, good communication and excellent time management Compassionate and person-focused Ideally, a background in one or more of the following areas Clinical experience with opioid substitution treatment, alcohol/drug field and/or mental health Pain treatment, gastroenterology, public health, older adult or primary care experience Demonstrated coaching leadership and supervision skills & experience in problem-solving The right candidate will bring their general nursing skills and will receive excellent orientation and training in working in addiction treatment.
