Ng mhiohio e p ana ki tnei mahi (About this position) Nelson Hospital Theatre Suite consists of 6 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department and Endoscopy suite. We are a friendly and supportive team focusing on providing a caring and professional environment, delivering quality care and extended nursing practice.
Shifts are rostered and rotating across Sunday to Monday with on call after hours. Please indicate in your covering letter the FTE or hours/fortnight that you'd prefer within the 0.5FTE (40 hrs/fortnight) up to 1.
0FTE (80 hrs/fortnight) range Ko wai he kaitono ttika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?) You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC and post-registration experience working with a multi-disciplinary perioperative team. You will have a positive attitude, an innovative and adaptable approach to practice, excellent communication skills and a real commitment to providing quality patient-centred care. You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
