About the role We are looking for an experienced administrator with a focus on continual improvement and who has what it takes to succeed in a varied, dynamic and interesting role. As a member of the Customer and Business Support team, you will be primarily responsible for completing and coordinating the administration on building consents and working closely with the Building team. Therefore, it would be preferable if you have some understanding and interest in the building process.
At other times, there may be opportunity to provide support for resource consents, LIMs, dog registrations and other responsibilities in collaboration with our Regulatory Services teams. Skills and Experience Excellent communication skills both oral and written, with ability to communicate a wide range of information to a wide variety of audiences through a variety of channels. Excellent computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Outstanding attention to detail with great understanding of legislative compliance requirements. A team player with a one team mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to collaborate with a wide range of people within and outside the organisation.
Demonstrated successful time management and organisational skills, and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work flexibly, as part of a team and also without supervision as required. Great problem-solving skills, with a positive can-do attitude.
