Job Description About the role As a Rehabilitation Coach, you will be responsible for carrying out the clients rehabilitation plans. You will also: empower clients to complete daily tasks, with oversight, direct assistance or prompting as required support our clients to participate in various activities assist clients with personal care help clients progress along with their rehab journey contribute to the smooth and effective day-to-day operations of the residential facility This is a permanent position with a minimum of 64 hours per fortnight and is located in Gisborne.
Desired Skills and Experience About you You will be professional, motivated and enthusiastic. You will have a polite and friendly manner with a key focus on providing a positive experience for our clients. You will also demonstrate and have the following skills and experiences: ideally hold a NZQA qualification, or studying toward a certificate in Health & Wellbeing/or career force level study A current first aid certificate is desirable but not essential good command of the English language both in written and oral communication hold a current full drivers licence, or be able to obtain this within three months of commencing employment ability to make independent decisions and work effectively alongside others have a can do attitude and works well in a team The ability to cover rostered and rotating shifts (am, pm, nights - including weekends) Leading through our values We are a values-driven organisation.
