Research Nurse - Research and Innovation, Starship Child Health New Zealand's premier children's hospital Monday to Friday position, Fixed term (24 months) Part-time (0.6FTE) Join now to benefit from the many opportunities for professional growth Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity The Starship Research & Innovation team were established in 2020 to provided embedded support for clinical research across all areas of Starship Child Health. Through continued growth we now have an exciting opportunity for a research nurse to join us on several upcoming commercial and grant funded trials across a number of therapeutic areas.
The Research Nurse has a key role in delivering clinical trials working alongside participants and their whnau, together with the study investigators and clinical trial coordinator(s). They are responsible for providing patient education and training, carrying out study specific procedures (e.g.
vital signs, sample collection, review of adverse events and medications), data collection and data entry. Current or recent experience working within Starship would be highly regarded. Experience as a research nurse is not essential; ongoing support and study-specific training will be provided.
