Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner providing guidance and support throughout their shopping experience. Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability pricing promotions and general store information. Restock shelves ensuring products are properly labelled and organized to enhance the overall store presentation.
Ensure the store is clean and well-maintained by regularly tidying shelves mopping floors and cleaning checkout areas. Operate cash registers handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using various payment methods. Bag groceries efficiently and assist customers with carrying their purchases to their vehicles if needed.
Collaborate with team members to maintain sufficient stock levels and promptly communicate any inventory shortages or damaged products. Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of customers and fellow staff members. Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions discounts and product features to provide accurate information to customers.
