Position: Rigger/Dogman Location: Palmerston North, New Zealand Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Rigger/Dogman to join our team.
As a Rigger/Dogman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment, machinery, and materials on our project sites. Your expertise in rigging, lifting, and signalling will contribute to the success of our projects. Responsibilities: Rigging and lifting heavy loads using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Safely operating cranes, hoists, and other machinery. Assisting with the assembly and disassembly of structures. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Communicating effectively with team members and equipment operators. Conducting regular inspections of rigging gear and reporting any defects. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Rigger/Dogman certification.
Proven experience in rigging and dogging within the construction or industrial sector. Knowledge of safe lifting practices and load calculations. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
