Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley District Location: Wellington Regional Hospital Service: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Unit Contract: Permanent, full-time Salary: $74,090 - $77,200 Krero m te tranga About the role Our RMO Coordinator provides administration support to our Senior and Junior doctors (RMOs), and is responsible for developing and overseeing the RMO rosters, ensuring they are consistent, transparent and accurate. Support is provided across the District, while also working collaboratively with National RMO groups and other Districts to ensure that the best and most effective approaches to RMO Coordination are being utilised. M t mtou rp About our team The RMO Unit facilitates linkages between and provides support for all those involved in RMO management functions across the sub regional hospitals.
Our focus is to provide a strategic overview of the RMO workforce, while also ensuring the consistency of management practices and the provision of employment agreement compliance. We actively encourage and promote open communication between clinical and operational management, with a key part of our unit assisting managers with RMO leave, management and RMO reimbursements. Our team in Wellington are part of a wider RMO Unit, with an office in the Hutt Hospital as well.
Mo About you No two days will be the same in this role which takes place in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will need to bring a can-do attitude and the ability to juggle a heavy workload. With outstanding customer service skills, and confidence in using Microsoft applications, we are looking for someone who can really hit the ground running and get things done.
