About the Job As our senior Diesel Mechanic you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our workshop along with servicing and repairing our earthmoving fleet, ensuring they are well maintained, repaired and released to service in a timely manner. Having well maintained and fit for purpose fleet plays a key role in our 'Done Right' approach to delivering every project.
As our senior Diesel Mechanic you will work with a range of machinery including excavators, scrapers, rollers, graders, dozers, trucks, tractors and more in our modern purpose-built workshop which utilises the latest fleet servicing technology including a 20m truck hoist and brake roller set up. You will also be responsible for the day to day operation of the workshop which includes coordinating the workshop team, ordering parts and consumables, health & safety, and liaising with our operations team. What You Will Need A diesel mechanic qualification 5 or more years experience with heavy earthmoving machinery A class 1 & 2 licence is required.
A class 3-5 licence will be an advantage. Good time management Self-Motivation and be able to work unsupervised in a safe manner Be a team player and have good communication skills Ability to complete a job to a high standard (no shortcuts) Experience running a team A good attitude and understanding towards Health and Safety What's In It For You?
