The Role With a focus on putting safety first and being better than yesterday, we are on the lookout for an individual who is passionate and experienced in making sure our whole team gets to go home safe at the end of each day. By nature, Councils have a huge range of risks, from heavy machinery to dog bites and hazards associated with working around construction sites to working in the natural environment. You will work to develop, deploy and continuously improve the organisation's health and safety management system.
To succeed in this role you will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to help in promoting behaviors and practices that encourage teamwork to maintain a safe work environment. You will report directly to the Health and Safety Manager who will assist you in the day-to-day operations and roll-out of H&S initiatives. What are you waiting for?
