Full Time Application Closes 08 Mar 2024 Auckland - Central Auckland Financial Manager Senior Management Accountant About the role Support the Group Financial Controller (GFC) and wider Mission organisation in all aspects of Management Accounting and reporting services including budgeting, forecasting and business reporting as required. This will include assistance in development and presentation of accurate and robust management reporting and planning information, including strategic analysis. Duties Meet financial reporting obligations, in context of monthly reporting, annual external audit and any internal audit and risk requirements for the future.

Ownership of the Profit and Loss accounting and accuracy to cost centre level, including reporting and analysis on associated costs and revenue streams, including interpretation of margins and cost management in all relevant areas of the Mission. Assist in development and implementation, alongside Finance Manager and Business Analyst, a fit for purpose financial planning and reporting framework that uses standardisation, automation and centralisation of data to improve capacity and quality of management accounting information. Provide timely and accurate reconciliation of data to ensure accuracy of outputs and high-level understanding of variances.

Support, attend and actively participate in regular team and organisational meetings and activities, assisting and working collaboratively with other team members and employees as required in a polite, efficient and effective manner. Skills & Experience A finance/accounting professional qualification & membership with a recognised professional accounting body (i.e.

CA ANZ) Understanding and experience in preparing GAAP and/or IFRS financial statements Complex reconciliation experience Excellent working knowledge of The Charities Act (2005), PBE Standards (XRB) and other related legislation Excellent team building, collaboration and partnering skills, with aptitude for getting things done through both formal and informal channels.
