A key member of the Portfolio Management Office, the Senior Portfolio Analyst is accountable for receiving, reviewing, collating, and analysing the data associated with the programmes and projects within Defence Estate and Infrastructure (DEI).
This role leads the making process of monthly reporting across the portfolio, assuring the quality and integrity of the information provided to key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Providing regular portfolio reports to supported NZDF governance boards, including analysis on performance, themes and trends, outlining potential options and decisions. Ensuring that Portfolio Management Office advice is consistent, effective, practical and in line with NZDF Orders and Instructions.
Being the Point of Contact for all enquiries relating to information for the DEI Portfolio Management Office. Managing reporting deadlines to ensure that information is disseminated accurately and on time. Managing the development and maintenance of the portfolio level dependency, decision, resource, lessons learned, and stakeholder engagement registers.
Coaching, advising and sharing knowledge within the DEI Portfolio Management Office, DEI Programme Management Office and wider NZDF. This role is based in Wellington CBD. Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there is the option of working from home one-two days a week.
Ng pkenga me ng wheako | Skills and Experience You will be experienced in Portfolio, Programme and Project Management (P3M) with working knowledge of the disciplines that P3M is built upon (Governance, Benefits, Risks, Dependencies, etc.). This role requires the ability to build, maintain, and influence relationships across all levels of the organisation and the ability to remain agile with changing priorities.
